Why More Schools Should Offer ABA Training

When you ask the average school principal what treatment their schools offer for autism, you are likely to learn that they believe that these treatments are best left up to parents or doctors. While parents can offer training for autism, it is not a condition that can be fixed with medication or by simply telling a child to behave differently. Children with autism simply learn in a different way than their peers, and it is only with intensive training that many children can learn to interact properly and to fit into a classroom environment. That is why ABA therapy should be offered in more school districts.
